18 Tower gets Miami Planning and Zoning Departments final approval
Miami's Planning and Zoning Department has granted final approval for a proposed 78-Story Tower with 392 residential units and retail space which would replace a strip mall in Brickell that currently includes Burger King across from Brickell City Centre.
The developer is proposing 923,000 SQ FT of retail space which would require a public benefit contribution if built as current permitting only allows up to 615,384 square feet. Another public benefit contribution would be required for the height of the project at 78 stories as it exceeds the 48-story limit.
Approved by the Urban Development review board last February, 18-Tower and its developers are paving the way to add another beautiful super tall building to the Downtown Miami skyline.
